Dr. Richard Woodford  MBBS PgDip (SurgSci) FRANZCR


Dr Richard Woodford is an Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist. Richard obtained his medical degree in 2012 on the Deans Honours Roll of Excellence at the University of Tasmania. He completed radiology training at Western Health and several other sites across Melbourne, and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2020. 
Richard then undertook subspeciality fellowships in Interventional Radiology at Hunter New England Health and Eastern Health in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Richard’s areas of interest include interventional oncology, peripheral vascular intervention and abdominal radiology. 
He maintains memberships with the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia (IRSA), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and Abdominal Radiology Group Australia and New Zealand (ARGANZ). He currently has appointments at Peninsula Health, Eastern Health and Imaging Associates.
