Dr. Tania Bain MBBS FRANZCR
Dr Bain studied Medicine at Melbourne University before undertaking specialist training at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. During this time, she gained a wide range of experiences in all areas of radiology imaging and intervention, including undertaking biopsies and injections, whilst utilising a range of imaging modalities, such as CT, MRI, US and fluoroscopy.
She has undertaken further subspecialty training in Musculoskeletal, Abdominal, Prostate MRI, Urological Imaging as well as Women’s and Breast Imaging and Intervention. Tania has 20 years of experience as a Consultant in this field and enjoys a mix of both public and private sector work.
Along with a keen interest in clinical work, she also has a longstanding role in teaching undergraduate medical students, holding a lecturer position at Monash University, supervision of trainee Registrars and has been recently appointed to RANZCR as a specialist examiner in the field of breast imaging.
