Dr. Finnegan completed his medical training in Northern Ireland, graduating from Queen’s University, Belfast with distinctions in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He undertook his specialist training in Radiology in Northern Ireland. During his training he was awarded a Gastrointestinal Imaging Junior Fellowship opportunity with ESGAR to study in Portugal, which he completed in 2018. Dr Finnegan became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists UK in 2019 and worked has worked as a Consultant in both Cambridgeshire and Northern Ireland. Dr Finnegan completed an MRI fellowship at the Royal Melbourne between 2019-2021 with particular focus on Neuroradiology. Following this Dr. Finnegan completed his second fellowship in Oncology Imaging at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Melbourne. His specialist interests include Neuroradiology and Trauma Imaging.
